As party planners, when presented with the most extraordinary Capability Brown setting, there was only one solution for this birthday party celebration. Employing the Georgians love for intrigue and surprise this luxury event led 160 guests on a Georgian Garden Adventure before dining in a modern Ash Geodesic Dome with a touch of couture influence.
Taking inspiration from the gardens and lakes themselves guests walked the gardens whilst being served fabulous canapés, exotic cocktails and serenaded by pop-up vignettes from violinists to opera sirens to trapeze artists.
Bringing the garden vistas into the evening was key to the event, after the garden adventure guests were seated with a 180 degree view of the grounds, served and entertained with the best food, wine and acts, finally topping off the celebrations with a 30 minute firework extravaganza worthy of the most worldly of Georgian society.
After designing Alex and Susanna’s 'Bare Foot and Fancy Free’ engagement party we were thrilled to be asked to organise their wedding. The brief was to produce a colourful inclusive affair with some fun and original entertainment to excite and surprise whilst remaining true to a wedding celebration. Beginning with drinks on the lawn at Cowley Manor, guests were led by a troubadour saxophonist, directed by topiary hedge people, to the ornate cascade overlooking the most romantic lake. Arriving by vintage rowing boat dressed in wild and seasonal flowers, our elfin bride stepped through the gathered crowds and after vows were exchanged, thousands of rose petals floated through the cascade whilst the bride and groom were whisked away across the lake to the cheers of the guests.
Set within an open walled traditional marquee overlooking the beautiful grounds of Cowley Manor, the guests were sat on long rustic tables with scattered love notes and vibrant table centres. The food was of the fast flowing mediterranean style and shared amongst the guests, interspersed with song, speeches and laughter and topped off with an artistic sharing dessert. As the sun set our fire poi performers and fire bowls brought in the night time revelry with the DJ and cocktails fuelling a celebration to remember, finished off with a silent disco for the many keen to see in the wee hours. With recovery gift bags placed in every room and Bloody Mary’s on hand the morning brunch continued the excitement of the night before and saw the wedding guests depart feeling more than a little colourful.
Unless the joys of time-travel suddenly become within reach, we will never visit the Moulin Rouge in its heyday. But our party planners can offer you a Baz Luhrmann inspired Bar Mitzvah, and really, that’s just as good.
We chose No.1 Embankment in London as the luxury party venue and added 1000 metres of velvet, 400 metres of mirror, 170 guests, 300 props, one famous magic act, the unforgettable Bruce Airhead and a circus horse, and put it all together. Invite seventy five 13 year olds and you won’t miss Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. A truly remarkable kids party that will never be forgotten!
A Bar Mitzvah party with a twist and certainly not done in the traditional way. We created Phoenix’s Speak Easy in the heart of London with a nod to the 1930s Cotton Club and Bugsy Malone. Guests were greeted by red carpet and paparazzi before getting whisked away to the top floor of No.2 Savoy Place. We organised a constant stream of acts and dancers; there were cheeky flapper girls on stage, a 1920s gentleman juggler, a kids dance group from Pineapple Studios followed by a DJ accompanied by percussionists. We brought in a vintage car photo booth, giant buzz wire, lots of bespoke art deco furniture, a circular wooden bar...and a whiskey bar for the Dads. This childrens party was held in a blank canvas venue in the heart of London where we were given full creative license to really put together an extraordinary event.
With a dramatic coastline, wild surrounding landscape and utterly tempting deep blue sea, this was the most enchanting island setting in which to host a wedding party in Greece. This romantic celebration was a 3 day wedding organisation with guests sauntering from sunset drinks parties to the most fairytale blessing on wooden decking by the sea followed by a secret wedding garden party under a stretch marquee filled with over 100 trees.
Riot’s wedding planners designed and delivered the extraordinary event from start to finish.
With this guest list coming to your wedding, the pressure is on to make sure it’s a special event. Riot organised a woodland wedding ceremony deep in the ancient estate forests , continuing the woodland theme into the reception in the huge centuries-old ballroom. We brought in 38 eight metre trees, 120 hedges, 50 topiary lollipops, 300 hanging lanterns, the best caterers, better barman and a bit of cheese (Guilty Pleasures) on the decks!
s there anything more romantic than a mid-summer festival wedding? Lanterns in the trees, flowers everywhere, music outdoors and impromptu dance floors under the stars… The only thing that can ruin it is all the other people — but not if Riot’s wedding event planners arrange your very own wedding festival. In this case, we were lucky enough to have a amazing wedding venue setting to work with - the bride’s historic family grounds that included pretty lakes and hundreds of shaded groves. Into the mix we added authentic Italian wedding caterers, a dramatic bonfire, bunting, luxurious yurt accommodation and lots and lots of Limoncello
We turned back the clock with a vintage tent and a fairground straight out of an Enid Blyton novel for this fantasy children’s party Bat Mitzvah. Our party planners exceeded expectations proving rides, games, sweets and prizes galore, keeping guests busy and very entertained until the sun set, when they moved into the vintage tent for mocktails made from carved pineapples, imaginative food and an evening of dancing. Famous Five eat your heart out – or employ Riot’s creative event planners…
When you’re given a lake-side setting, a party planners job is already half done as there are few views a stretch of water can’t improve. For this magnificent birthday party, we brought in cutting edge luxury party decoration, famous musicians, thousands of flowers, top chefs, manned row-boats, extraordinary fireworks and sychronised bi-plane wing walkers.
The lavender, the rosé, the warm summer evenings — there are few people who would turn down the South of France as a private party location. But instead of forcing your guests on a plane, why not recreate le sud en Somerset? For this 40th birthday celebration, our ever imaginative party planners created a 100 metre rose walkway entrance, fire bowls and olive trees, two bite canapé delights, French-inspired cocktails, a raised dance floor and Benny Blanco on the decks.
We’ve all watched Mamma Mia and secretly longed to have a wedding party as romantic as that one. And while we can’t promise you’ll break into song quite as often as they do in the film, our wedding organisers can create a picture perfect Greek wedding for you. Set on the wild, unspoilt northern tip of Zakynthos, this event was held in a private villa overlooking the sea. The bride arrived by boat and guests drank champagne and ate canapés while watching the sun set.
The words white wedding always conjure up the image of a traditional celebration deep in the English countryside. And like all good Brits, we can’t help but love that concept — although we like to do it with a twist. In this case Riots wedding planners to inspiration from a childhood book the groom loved while growing up. To mimic the storyline, we set this luxury wedding on the banks of the River Test in a couture canvas tent filled with hundreds of wildflowers and an oversized dance floor. Guests dipped their toes in the water while they sipped on bellinis and listened to an eclectic playlist. The English traditional wedding getting a welcome eccentric update.
For this luxury wedding party, we decided to bring the chicest hue of all into a traditional bridal scheme. Which meant our event planners designing and building a luxury wedding venue featuring a sheer black dance floor, a stunning stainless steel light bar, a stylish tension tent, candle lit rowing boats and ancient olives— made even more impressive by a blood-red sunset, eye-popping fireworks and midnight hot toddies.
Wedding oranisers dream event? – tick.
This 18th birthday party finally put to bed the old adage that the 1980s were the decade style forgot. With only 10 days to organise our event planners went into overdrive. Set in an elegant ballroom styled structure, the dress code was 80s rockstar and a red carpet led the way to a tent decked with metallic silver curtains from floor to ceiling. Teenagers dressed as Jon Bon Jovi, David Bowie and Ozzy Osborne dined on Japanese cuisine in an all-silver setting and after dinner metallic curtains were raised to sounds of a DJ ready to welcome the party to the dance floor.
Guests to this hidden luxury party arrived to a graffiti splashed, back street East-end warehouse through an unwelcoming blank door and were greeted by fabulous cocktails in a vintage 1890's Speigel tent, Michelin starred food and star turns on the stage and dance floor – who would Adam and Eve it?
This charity event was so spectacular, when guests weren’t taking pictures for Instagram, they were digging deep into their wallets. Our event planners worked closely with the organisers to ensure that the delivery was sensitive and balanced. We then kicked off the preparations by booking a stately home, the 500 VIP guests arrived to a 200ft medical themed marquee featuring dry ice cocktails, scientist barmen, waiters in scrubs, wine in conical flasks, 500 lanterns, celebrity speakers and auctioneers – and by the end of the night £750,000 was raised.
